Kia ora. I am Maori of Aotearoa New Zealand, and am a close relative of King Tuheitia. For your information, this is not an act of Gay Love, quite the contrary. This is our symbolic traditional gesture of greeting, symbolising the Breath of Life gifted by Tane the Lifegiver to Hine Ahuone our first human being created from the earth. It is a tradition since time began for our culture, the sharing of two Life Breaths, bringing one life force to another. This photo was taken at the presentation of the Koran which was translated into our Language and therefore presented to King Tuheitia as the Head of Kiingitanga and the Rangatira (chiefs) of Aotearoa New Zealand. Please, either change your title or delete your caption as it is highly offensive to our culture and tradition of greeting. if you wish to comment, please do so, but your assumption that this is an act of gay love is incorrect and shows me you have not done your research, but instead spreading chaos from joy, shame on you . . .
